Once again, thanks to the diligent efforts of our Chairman of Wine Harry Crook and the generosity of the Race Company Chief Executive Richard Thomas and his Sales and Hospitality staff, a private festival chalet has been reserved for Wednesday, 8th May.
A very favourable rate has also been agreed for the purchase of County Stand badges for the day, in conjunction with the traditional first class lunch at the Club, and a modest afternoon tea within our festival chalet.
The dress code for the event is jacket and tie, the start time from 11.30am onwards at the Club, and for the sake of simplicity, the cost for this event is outlined within the following two options.
Option 1: Lunch and drinks at the Club, a pair of County Stand badges, a pair of admission badges to the City Club chalet, and afternoon tea – £150 per couple.
Option 2: Lunch and drinks at the Club, a pair of admission badges to the City Club chalet, and afternoon tea – £105 per couple. (This option is for those who have pre-existing arrangements for admission to the County Stand and Racecourse).
All the badges are individually number coded, and will be distributed during the lunch at the Club on the day itself.
Once again my thanks go to Harry Crook and the Racecourse, I have no doubt that demand will be high, so would urge those wishing to join us on this special day to contact the Club Manager in the usual way to book places.
